Accessibility Features

The following accessibility features are currently implemented or in progress on moratra.com:

Visual Accessibility

  • Colour contrast ratios are maintained at a minimum of 4.5:1 for standard text and 3:1 for large text, in line with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality using browser zoom controls.
  • The website does not rely solely on colour to convey information; icons, labels, and text are used in combination.
  • All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text (alt attributes) to support screen reader users.

Navigation & Structure

  • The website uses a logical, consistent heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) to aid navigation by screen readers and assistive technologies.
  • All interactive elements, including buttons, links, and form fields, are keyboard-navigable using the Tab and Enter keys.
  • Skip-to-main-content links are provided to allow keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation menus.
  • Page titles are descriptive and unique, clearly identifying the content of each page.

Forms & Booking

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. The following known limitations are currently being addressed:

  • Third-Party Booking Widgets: Certain embedded booking tools and payment interfaces are provided by third-party vendors and may not yet be fully accessible. We are working with these providers to improve compliance.
  • Legacy PDF Documents: Some older downloadable documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We are progressively updating these to tagged, accessible PDF formats.
  • Video Content: Some video content on our website may not yet include fully synchronised captions or audio descriptions. We are prioritising this for all new content.
  • Interactive Maps: Embedded map features may have limited keyboard accessibility. We provide text-based location information as an alternative where maps are used.
  • Social Media Feeds: Embedded social media content may not meet our accessibility standards, as this content is controlled by third-party platforms.

AlloTrips SARL is committed to making our travel experiences as inclusive as possible. We recognise that many of our tours and activities take place in natural, historical, or remote environments that may present physical accessibility challenges.

  • Pre-Booking Disclosure: Each tour listing on our website includes information about the physical demands of the activity, including terrain type, walking distances, and fitness requirements.
